Because this theme isn’t released into the Tumblr Theme Garden and I’m selling it independently, installation is sort of a pain. Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to install it without copying and pasting. Most people run into trouble when opening the file into a program that parses the text as HTML, so you’ll need a basic text editor in order to open the file.

Things you’ll need

• A basic text-editor (such as Notepad if you’re on Windows, or BBEdit if you’re on a Mac, or Dreamweaver if you have it)

How to Install

1. First, open the theme file in a text editor, select all the text, and copy it.
2. Then, go to the Customize menu in your Tumblr.
3. Under the Theme dropdown, click “Enable Custom HTML”. Delete whatever is there and click “Save.” Then paste the entirety of the theme file.txt and click “Save” again.
4. Under Appearance, click “Reset Defaults”.

This should work! If it doesn’t, you could temporarily change your password to something simple like “passwordfornatasha” and I could go in and troubleshoot it for you. (I’m very fast.) Just e-mail me if you’re having trouble at info@onebyfourstudio.com.
